For the first time in 20 years I returned to the Bonneville Salt Flats, where in my teen years I hung around with a Yashica Mat and watched the cars go 300+ mph. It's a place unto itself, even today
You can sit around in the hot sun for hours, and then whoosh.. they fly by you in 20 seconds, still it's a rush like no other
And bless the guys who show up: mostly my age, mostly near retirement, mostly still Gearheads....
Spectre speed is off and running....
